This makes the perfect starter
- 400g Fresh Whelks in their shells
- 100g Butter
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- Chopped parsley
- First of all cook your whelks you can either steam or boil them in a little water this should take about 10 minutes.
- Once done, melt the butter with garlic in large pan (if you have a wok use that) add the whelks and parsley and give a good stir around making sure the whelks are well coated.
- Serve and enjoy
