Pan Fried Hake in Lemon Butter, December 18th 2012


  • 2x Hake Steaks
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Tsp Dried Parsley


  • Heat the pan and Brish with a little of the butter and fry off the Hake Steaks
  • Half way through (when you turn the fish over) add the butter, lemon zest, Parsley  and the seasoning
  • Baste the fish with the butter and once cooked serve with some lightly steamed greens!
