Fabulous Homemade Fish Fingers and Chips
This recipe is extremely simple to do and will be a hit with kids and big kids alike. It takes a little preparation but the end result is well worth it.
Ingredients
- 400g Skinned Cod (cut into fish finger shaped pieces)
- 1 large Potato
- 1 egg
- Flour (for dusting)
- 2 slice bread
- Oil for frying
Method
- Beat the egg and in a food processor blend the bread slices to make breadcrumbs
- Dust the cod in the flour, then dip into the egg and cover in the breadcrumbs
- Once all pieces of cod are breaded leave them to one side whilst you make the chips
- Thinly slice the potato then cut into chips of fries size pieces (We went for fries size)
